The D-Link DNS323 is a NAS box with gigabit ethernet, space for two 3"5 SATA hard drives and a 500MHz ARM CPU. There is a wiki for it at http://wiki.dns323.info/ .
I want to use my DNS323 as a remote backup box, so I didn't have any need for the functions in the standard firwmare. Instead I've built my own ramdisk based on Buildroot with just the functions I need. Source code for my hacked firmware.
